Giant Sturgeons - Part 1

The Beluga is one of the biggest sturgeons that has ever existed. With its 2000 pound weight, and its 22 foot length , the beluga can also overthrow a fisherman. Normally the beluga is caught by net.

Before the rivers of Russia were infested with these beasts. But when humans discovered caviar and the price for it, all the people started fishing them. Slowly, the numbers of Beluga went down from thousands being caught per year. Now, only about  200-300 Belugas are left in the world.

Here you see a few Belugas of about of 3 or 4 feet length.

Here are  3 types of sturgeons. I would like you to guess and comment: which is the Beluga?

But luckily, each female Beluga spawns about 10,000 eggs per year!

Here are some 19 or 21 foot long belugas!!!!!

And here are all the eggs that the Beluga can carry !
