Deadly Rays - Part 2

The 'Tchu Tchu de rio' is a short tail freshwater sting ray. It also has venom like other sting rays. Little is known about it but the natives of Argentina say that it can grow up to 20 feet long.


Here you can see the size of the barb.

Rays are also part of the family of sharks, it's basically a flattened shark.
It is sand colored to camouflage in the sand.
But the special thing in this ray is that it has 2 spines while other sting rays only have one.
So double the spine, double the power and double the quantity of venom.


And here is a 14 foot long 'Tchu Tchu de rio'!!!!
