If you would touch one of these eels, you would probably die of electrocution!!!!
This eel has the power to grill meat and when it does that to your body, you will probably seem to have a fit until you are dead. This eel doesn't have the normal thin head of an eel; when it electrifies a victim, its body lights up and, if the head had been thin, it would kill itself.
Legend says that Thor, the god of lightning, gave the power to the eel through a storm that hit it. and here is a 5 to 6 foot electric eel.
Why does having a big head prevent the eel from electrocuting itself? Does it use its electric powers against other eels when they fight?
ReplyDeleteWhen it has a big head, the head has place to store the electrical charge. And if it had a small fine head, it would electrocute itself.
